Jason Snead, Executive Director of Honest Elections Project, released the following statement:
“The Supreme Court’s ruling in Bost this morning that political candidates have standing to challenge election rules is an absolute no-brainer. If candidates can’t sue over illegal practices that harm election integrity in their own races, then nobody can. Finally, conservative candidates trying to uphold election integrity laws will have the same access to the courts as liberal candidates trying to throw these laws out.”
Honest Elections Project filed an amicus brief in Bost v. Illinois State Board of Elections in support of Congressman Bost’s challenge, which can be found HERE.
