Honest Elections Project Released an Ad on Michigan Proposal 2

Jason Snead, Executive Director of Honest Elections Project, released the following statement:

“Proposal 2 is on the ballot this November, and Michiganders deserve to know the facts about the sweeping changes it will make to state elections. Unfortunately, supporters of proposal 2 are gaslighting the public by arguing that the measure preserves voter ID. That’s a lie. The truth is, Proposal 2 bans true photo ID requirements for in-person and mail ballots, even though Americans overwhelmingly favor photo ID laws. The Honest Elections Project released this ad so Michiganders can get the facts about Proposal 2 and the sweeping changes it will make to Michigan’s election laws.”
