Alexandria, VA – Honest Elections Project Executive Director Jason Snead will serve as the Private Sector Chair of the new American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) Process and Procedures Task Force, an initiative aimed at promoting clear rules of engagement between government and its citizens. Snead will be joined by Rhode Island State Rep. Jon Brien, who will serve as the Public Sector Chair, and Katie Thompson, who will serve as Director.
The Process and Procedures Task Force will expand recent ALEC efforts to enhance federalism by adopting model election integrity policies such as the Only Citizens Vote Act, the School Board Election Date Act, and the Safeguard American Votes and Election Act.
