Jason Snead, Executive Director of Honest Elections Project, released the following statement:
“Honest Elections Project (HEP) Legal Policy Director Jacqueline Doyer provided testimony today at a Wisconsin Senate hearing today that would ban ranked-choice voting (RCV). RCV is a convoluted process that makes it harder to vote, disenfranchises voters, and turns elections into a black box, causing distrust in election outcomes. States across the country should be moving to ban RCV rather than implement it. HEP applauds Wisconsin lawmakers who are pushing to ban RCV in their state.”
